The club was originally founded on the 17th of December 1982 in Mamming, Germany by Franz Zollner, Georg Gerhager, Franz Schuster and dr. Leonhard Kühschelm. It was reestablished in January of 2018 with a new leadership.
We organize and inform all European countries where English and pigmy pouters are bred. Our task is to make sure the national standards of these breeds align with the Official Standard of the European Club. Exhibitions of the European Club are organized biennially to examine, judge and reward the breeding results.

Der Club wurde ursprünglich am 17. Dezember 1982 in Mamming in Deutschland von Franz Zollner, Georg Gerhager, Franz Schuster und Dr. Leonhard Kühschelm gegründet. Er wurde im Januar 2018 neu gegründet.
Wir organisieren und informieren alle europäischen Länder, in denen Englische Kröpfer gezüchtet werden. Die Vereinheitlichung der nationalen Standards dieser Taubenrasse zu einem Europastandard. Die Abhaltung von Clubeuropaschauen im Zweijahresrhythmus zum gegenseitigen Austausch des Zuchtniveaus.

Europski su klub prvotno osnovali 17. prosinca 1982. u Mammingu (u Njemačkoj) Franz Zollner, Georg Gerhager, Franz Schuster i dr. Leonhard Kühschelm. Klub je ponovno ustanovljen u siječnju 2018. s novim čelništvom i sjedištem.
Mi organiziramo i informiramo klubove svih europskih država u kojima se uzgajaju engleski veliki i patuljasti gušani. Naš je zadatak pobrinuti se da su nacionalni standardi ovih pasmina u skladu sa Službenim standardom Europskog kluba. Europske se izložbe održavaju svake dvije godine sa željom razmjene, ocjenjivanja i nagrađivanja rezultata uzgoja.
Mi organiziramo i informiramo klubove svih europskih država u kojima se uzgajaju engleski veliki i patuljasti gušani.
